About Lawn & Loam

Lawn & Loam is an independent English-language guide to lawn care, equipment, and backyard gardening for American homeowners. We focus on the reasoning behind a choice: yard size, grass type, season, USDA zone, budget, the product label, and the official sources behind each practice.

Who writes here

Our guides are written and edited by Lawn & Loam Editorial Desk, who researches each topic against public, verifiable sources — product labels, manufacturer specifications, EPA guidance, USDA materials, and state Cooperative Extension resources — and records the sources for each guide.

What we publish

Our field guides explain repeatable decision frameworks and seasonal methods: how to choose equipment by your yard, when to aerate or overseed, how to build a raised bed, and how to read a product label before you apply anything. We do not publish invented field tests, fake reviews, or pretend to have used products we have not verified.

What we do not provide

Lawn & Loam is not a substitute for product labels, local regulations, or professional advice. Lawn and garden results vary by climate, zone, grass type, and product. Check current official sources for your place and date before you buy or apply anything.
