Terms
How you may use this site.
General information, not professional advice
Guides here describe general practice for lawns, tools and backyard growing. They cannot see your soil, your local ordinances or the label on the product in your garage, so they are not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, engineering or licensed-applicator advice.
External links
Some guides link to manufacturer pages, Cooperative Extension material or government resources. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and a link here is a pointer rather than an endorsement of everything on the destination.
Changes to these terms
This page is revised only when the mechanics behind it change, a different advertising service, a new consent tool, or a replacement contact address. Nothing is edited for style, and whatever is displayed here is the text currently in force.
Verify before you act
Lawn and garden results vary by climate, USDA zone, grass type, product, and local regulations. Always follow the product label and applicable laws, and confirm timing with your state Cooperative Extension or an official local source. Content may become outdated; check current primary sources.
Content and copyright
Text and images produced for Lawn & Loam remain the property of this site. Anything sourced elsewhere is credited on the image credits page together with its licence. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine; copying a guide or reusing its photographs is not.
Advertising
Ads on this site are placed in positions that are clearly separate from the guides themselves and carry an advertising label. No advertiser reviews a page before publication or influences what a guide recommends.
Using a page means reading it as a framework rather than as an instruction for your property. The reasoning transfers; the specific figures often do not. A watering interval, a feeding rate or a mowing height depends on grass species, soil, slope and weather, and the label on the product in front of you takes precedence over anything written here.
Where a page describes a chemical product, the applicable rules come from the label and from the regulations that govern its use where you live. Some products are restricted, some are not permitted on certain sites, and some require an applicator licence. This site describes the framework for reading a label and choosing a method; it does not determine what is lawful at your address.
Links out of a guide lead to manufacturer documentation, extension material or government resources. Each destination keeps its own terms and its own privacy practices, and a link is there so a figure can be checked at the source rather than because the destination endorses this site.
Original text and photographs on these pages belong to this site unless a caption or the image credits page says otherwise. Short quotations with a link back are fine. Reproducing a guide in full, or reusing its images, requires permission first.
This page changes only when something behind the site changes: the advertising service, the consent mechanism, or the address readers write to. Nothing is revised for style, so the text displayed here is the version currently in force.
